Bound By Unity and Diversity

Ephesians 4:13 (CSB) ...until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of God’s Son, growing into maturity with a stature measured by Christ’s fullness.

The Bible is a prime example of how believers in Jesus Christ can unite and be bound together in their love and service to God and to each other as well as be bound together in the adhesiveness of one another’s diversity. In other words, the Bible is evidence for the church that anything that is God-centered is unshakeable, immoveable, and solid as the Rock of Ages. Consider these things: out of approximately thirteen different countries and three distinct continents; over a period of about sixteen hundred years; with at least forty or more writers; a collection of thirty-nine books (the Old Testament) and twenty-seven books (the New Testament) collectively became one book – the Holy Bible. This one book speaks the ever-living Word of the Only True and Living God for all people. Bound in unity and diversity...nothing superficial. Profound and thorough...God-centered, unshakeable, immoveable...a solid Rock of Ages. Sealed with God’s Love is God’s Word for God’s church. Amen.
