Everybody Sins
 
Romans 3:23 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
 
Some folks live in a world of their own where they follow certain practices that they believe exempt them from being regarded as sinners. My advice to them is that they come out of that dim light and step into the Light of Truth. And the truth they will have to accept is this: Every human being that God ever created, creates, and will create is a sinner. That is the life sentence of our human nature. We sin knowingly and unknowingly. There is no perfection in us. But Jesus died for us anyway, and God still cares about us in the fullness of His love. So – each time that we sin, there are some things that we have to do to show God that we realize we’re wrong, and we don’t want to live our life that way. We must go to God and offer Him our sincere repentance. We must forgive our self. We must receive God’s forgiveness, and continue to walk forward in freedom with Him as His beloved child. Do we only do this once? No. We will do this again and again, because - everybody sins throughout their lifetime – and our God is faithful to forgive us again and again...
