It’s In Our Head

Romans 8:6 (NLT) So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.

If today seems to be the same as yesterday and the day before that...if there is something we’ve wanted to do for many years and we haven’t done it yet because of the same excuses we made way back when...if God is still no greater to us than what we can tangibly put our hands on – then guess what? It’s all in our head, and it’s empty! God doesn’t waste words. He says exactly what He means, and He backs up every word He says with His promises. We – on the other hand – believe in God as if we’re playing a game of spades with Him. God is not a trickster...we are. And the only way to stop tricking ourselves to believe that we’ll one day wake up one magical morning and all of our dreams will be granted is to get out of our heads, dive into faith in God, and let the Holy Spirit have control of our minds. We’ll begin to make some awesome progress then
