When God Speaks
 
John 12:28-30 (MSG) A voice came out of the sky: “I have glorified it, and I’ll glorify it again.” The listening crowd said, “Thunder!” Others said, “An angel spoke to him [Jesus].” Jesus said, “The voice didn’t come for me but for you...”
 
 
God doesn’t need to be announced by His angels before He speaks. His Mighty Authority reverberates in the Heavens and in the earth. Every listening ear may perceive the sound of His voice differently, but their listening hearts know that God is speaking, and reverent obedience is their wise response to Him. When God speaks, He speaks for you to listen and to understand through your relationship with Him. Sometimes God speaks with a whisper, or with a gentle touch of His Spirit. Sometimes He speaks through a written or relayed message. Sometimes God speaks by way of an incident, or by the sunshine and the rain. The more time that you spend with Him, the stronger your awareness grows of how God speaks to you. Does God really speak through the thunder? Listen closely... “Yes.”
