It’s time for a health check! What’s good to know for our personal bodies is just as important for our corporate, spiritual body. Do you like to eat? Me, too! When food is appreciated and eaten for the goodness God designed it to provide us, we benefit from it well. Healthy lifestyles = healthy spirits = healthy fellowship. But there is a quote that says, “You are what you eat. So don’t be fast, cheap, easy, or fake.” So much for the fast food menus that we grab on the run in a little time and for a little money! Let’s keep in mind that convenience is nice, but too much ‘fast, cheap, easy, or fake’ will eventually equate to ‘slow, expensive, difficult, and real’ health issues. The flipside of any menu that isn’t cooked fresh at home puts us at risk for health inconveniences that can be prevented by investing time in making wise choices, and preparing and eating healthy meals in moderation. Hey...we make time for everything else that is important to us, right? Eat well, and live well for your Kingdom service.
